This board began it’s life for Shogi, which then transformed into (likely) the only 15 x 15 goban on the planet. It is ideal for giving the owner a significant home-field advantage, as few people will ever have used this size for a serious game. If you are a collector of unique items about the game, this one qualifies as ideal. And it is definitely very old Kaya, still with a strong aroma. 146 mm thickness for the board itself.
