Each quilt is handmade from vintage Kimono and Obi pieces, and may be silk, cotton, bast, wool or other man-made fibres. Most of the fabrics have been hand-crafted in highly refined Japanese textile traditions and may include kasuri, shibori, katazome or yuzen dying techniques. Wadding is 100% Australian sheep wool. The backing is 100% cotton made in Australia. Commissions are invited.
