As the photos show, this board does not have grain lines that stretch from edge to edge, but rather “blank” areas with random short grain lines subtly filling the space. It is quite beautiful. It has several minute indents. The dark lines on the ends are the remnants of cracks that are solid now. It was also repaired on the end grain many decades before I saw it. Original top.
